Welcome to Peppermint Parties! By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

  • Peppermint Parties is based in Devonport, Tasmania, and provides party supplies, balloon services, decorations, and hire items.
  • By submitting a wishlist, making a booking, or purchasing from us, you accept these Terms & Conditions.
  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without notice.

2. Orders & Wishlist System

  • Our website uses a wishlist system instead of a shopping cart.
  • Submitting a wishlist is not a confirmed booking or purchase — it’s an enquiry.
  • We will contact you to confirm availability, provide a quote and arrange payment.

3. Payment

  • All bookings and orders must be paid in full prior to collection or delivery.
  • Payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Prices may be updated from time to time and are subject to change without notice.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 21 days before your event date to be eligible for a refund (minus any non-refundable deposits).
  • Cancellations within 21 days may result in loss of payment, depending on costs already incurred.
  • Custom items, balloon inflation, and special orders are non-refundable once prepared.

5. Hire Items

  • Hired items (marquees, furniture, glassware, etc.) remain the property of Peppermint Parties.
  • The hirer is responsible for all items from the time of delivery/collection until return.
  • Damaged, missing, or unreturned items may incur replacement or repair charges.

6. Balloon Policy

  • All balloons must be pre-paid before inflation.
  • We cannot guarantee the float time of balloons once they leave our premises, as factors such as weather, handling, and environment can affect them.
  • Latex balloons are biodegradable and should be disposed of responsibly.

7. Liability

  • Peppermint Parties is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by the use of our products or hire items.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring hire equipment and decorations are used safely and appropriately.

8. Privacy

  • Personal details provided to Peppermint Parties (such as contact details and event information) are used only for the purpose of processing your booking and will not be shared without consent.
